SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
“Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
Baptism is the first of the sacraments of initiation. In Baptism, the Holy Spirit moves us to answer Christ's call to holiness. We are asked to walk by the light of Christ and to trust in His wisdom. We are invited to submit our hearts to Christ with ever deeper love.
At St. Thomas the Apostle Church, baptisms are scheduled on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 1:30pm. Baptisms are performed for families that are registered parishioners for at least 3 months. (You can register right here on our website).
